Christine Kim

Personnel bridge: GreylockServal. Not an init.inc investor — a node that corroborates Greylock’s conflict and a competitor’s hiring.

Snapshot

  • ~5 years investing at Greylock — and notably ran company-formation searches (“we’re searching for our next Greylock incubation,” per her LinkedIn). (WebSearch)
  • Left → Serval ~Mar 2026 (“joined Serval two months ago after five years investing at Greylock”) to lead Serval Start — Serval’s program offering accelerated equity vesting to aspiring founders who join as forward-deployed engineers (FDEs). (Upstarts · Serval)

Why she matters to init.inc

Two edges, both relevant:

  1. Greylock-conflict corroboration. A 5-year Greylock investor who literally ran “next Greylock incubation” searches is direct evidence that Greylock’s inception engine has been active in/around the IT-agent wedge — reinforcing the incubation conflict disclosed by Neiman Mathew.
  2. Competitor personnel. She now runs talent acquisition (the FDE founder program) for Serval, a direct init.inc competitor with a customer pipeline “bigger than it can handle for 2026.”

⚠️ Pitch implication: in any Greylock touch (e.g. Saam Motamedi), assume the firm already pattern-matches init.inc’s space via Christine’s prior incubation work AND her current Serval role — name it proactively.
